Your Broker, John Templeton
John Templeton returned to East Tennessee in 2000 following more than 20 years’ successful experience as an executive and sales professional with some of the US’s largest and best-known insurers and brokerages. For 18 years he was Senior Consultant and Atlanta Head of Office for a subsidiary of the world’s largest insurance services organization. Serving as broker or consultant for clients with as few as 2 employees and as many as 10,000, Mr. Templeton is experienced in all group insurance areas as well as self-funding, flexible benefits, special risk and worksite marketing (voluntary benefits).
Mr. Templeton was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, and is a graduate of Indiana University earning an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature and an MBA in Marketing. He taught in the public schools of Indiana before returning South to begin his insurance career. Mr. Templeton also holds the Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designations. He is licensed for both Life and Health and Property and Casualty Insurance products.
